Cats whose primary diet consists of wet food will drink less water than those on a dry food diet. This is because wet food naturally contains a high percentage of moisture. Therefore, there is no need to worry if your cat starts drinking a little less after a change in diet. It is important to remember that fresh and clean drinking water must always be freely available. Use the same water you drink yourself — non-carbonated bottled or filtered water.

Safe food transition

New food should be introduced gradually by mixing it with the current diet over 4–7 days, depending on your pet’s sensitivity. If you are switching from dry food, do not mix kibble and wet chunks in the same bowl. Start by replacing one meal a day with wet food.

Exclusively wet food diet

CATCH! wet foods are complete and balanced. This means that using them as the sole source of nutrition during a specific life stage (kitten or adult cat) fully provides a healthy body with all the necessary nutrients. Thus, CATCH! can be used as a complete daily diet.

Combined feeding

CATCH! wet foods can be used in combination with dry foods for daily feeding. Since the food is complete and balanced, you should follow the feeding guide. For example, for a 5 kg cat, the daily allowance is four pouches. You can take half of the allowance (two pouches) and make up the rest with half of your dry food’s daily portion.
